Interior upgrades and external repairs on a grade II listed property in Seaton, East Devon.
This iconic grade II listed property based in Seaton, East Devon was starting to show its age and required some upgrades and repair. Our client requested our team to carry out a survey report for the property to get an assessment of the remedial works that were required. Thankfully for the client, the property was in good order structurally and only required minor upgrades and repairs.
Internally, our client was looking to upgrade some of the guest rooms which included reinforcing and soundproofing the existing floor joists as well as creating some bespoke headboard designs from locally sourced reclaimed floorboards.
Due to the seaside location of the property, the external paint and render were starting to look tired. The external shutters were also in a state of disrepair. A new pair of hardwood shutters were constructed on-site and installed. We arranged for all the external decorating works to be carried out during the warmer months to ensure the project was completed efficiently, on time and on budget.
